Tillandsia 'Carmen Gem' is a stunning air plant prized for its thick, curving grey-green leaves coated in silvery trichomes that give it a frosted appearance. This architectural beauty grows into an 18 cm wide rosette and produces spectacular carmine pink bracts with delicate lilac flowers as it matures. Light: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight or dappled sunshine.
Protect from harsh afternoon sun to prevent leaf scorch.
Mist 2–4 times weekly, or soak for 10–15 minutes once a week. Always dry upside down in a well-ventilated area to prevent center-rot.
Good air circulation prevents fungal diseases and root rot. Temperature: Keep between 15°C and 30°C. Protect entirely from frost.
