Every Plant Tells a Story
Nature does not create perfection, it creates character. We celebrate these natural details, because they make every plant beautifully one of a kind.
Tillandsia ehlersiana is a stunning Mexican air plant named after botanists Renate and Klaus Ehlers. It features a distinctive bulbous base, thick silvery leaves, and produces soft pink flowers with purple centres. This slow-growing species forms impressive clumps over time and develops pups before flowering.
Keep outdoors in bright, indirect light with excellent airflow. Mount under trees, in shade-houses, or on covered patios and decks. Not suitable for indoor growing. In frost-prone areas, provide winter protection.
Water frequency depends on your climate. In warm conditions, water every 2–3 days; in cool, humid environments, once weekly is sufficient. Mist or fully submerge for 10–20 minutes, then shake off excess water thoroughly. Always allow the plant to dry completely between waterings. Critical: never let water collect at the base. this leads to rot.
