Tillandsia funckiana var. recurvifolia is a striking air plant with stiff, curved needle-like leaves that form tight cushions. Unlike the standard variety, this caulescent (stem-forming) type produces vibrant red tubular flowers when mature.
Light: Bright, indirect sunlight. East or west-facing windows work best indoors.
Water: Mist every few days, or soak in a water bowl for 10–20 minutes once or twice weekly. Drying: Shake off excess water after soaking. Dry completely upside down to prevent base rot. Airflow: Needs good air circulation,it's an epiphyte that grows without soil.
Temperature: Keep between 10°C and 26°C. Protect from frost.
