Tillandsia ionantha x seleriana Air Plant A stunning hybrid air plant that flowers in February. This species thrives outdoors in bright, indirect light with excellent airflow, mount under trees, in shade-houses, or on covered patios and decks. Not recommended for indoor growing.
Mist or dunk every 2–3 days in hot positions, or weekly in cooler, humid spots. Submerge for 10–20 minutes, then shake off excess water. Let the plant dry completely between waterings—never allow water to pool at the base, as this causes rot. In colder climates, provide frost protection when positioning outdoors. With proper airflow and drainage, this air plant is easy to maintain and rewarding to grow.
