Tillandsia Disticha Giant Air Plant is a striking air plant native to the cloud forests of Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. Features a distinctive bulbous base with wide, sheathed foliage that tapers gracefully upward, creating an elegant grassy silhouette. Soft grey-green leaves develop into a delicate yellow flower spike in winter, producing sweetly-scented blooms.
Bright, indirect sunlight works best. Position near an east or west-facing window indoors, or in dappled shade outdoors. In frost-prone areas, keep undercover or bring inside during winter.
Water every 2–3 days in warm spots; once weekly in cooler, humid conditions. Mist or dunk for 10–20 minutes, then shake off excess. Let the plant dry completely between waterings—never allow water to pool at the base, as this causes rot.
