Every Plant Tells a Story
Nature does not create perfection, it creates character. We celebrate these natural details, because they make every plant beautifully one of a kind.
Tillandsia hammeri is a Mexican air plant from high-altitude rock cliffs near Oaxaca. This stemless air plant grows 90–100cm tall with stiff, needle-like leaves forming a dramatic 50cm rosette. The foliage is grey-green and much more robust than its relative Tillandsia juncea, with an impressive flowering spike reaching 60cm and bearing violet blooms with white bases.
Bright, indirect light indoors (east or west-facing windows) or partial shade outdoors. Water every 2–3 days in warm conditions, weekly in cool areas.
Mist or soak for 10–20 minutes, then shake dry completely. Never allow water to pool at the base. Low-maintenance and rewarding for collectors seeking something distinctive.
