Tillandsia lorentziana Air Plant

Tillandsia lorentziana is a stunning air plant with silvery, velvet-textured leaves and striking cherry-red flowers. Native to South America, this xeric species thrives outdoors in bright, dry conditions with good airflow.

Best kept outdoors under trees, verandahs, decks, or shadehouses. Needs bright light and airflow to dry between waterings. Can tolerate cold but must be protected from frost. Mount on cork bark, timber, or suspend with wire or fishing line. Never cover the base with moss. 

Water every 2–3 days in hot spots; once weekly in cooler, humid areas. Mist or dunk for 10–20 minutes, then shake dry. Let the plant dry completely between waterings. Never allow water to pool at the base.
