Every Plant Tells a Story
Nature does not create perfection, it creates character. We celebrate these natural details, because they make every plant beautifully one of a kind.
Tillandsia tenuifolia 'Giant' is the largest cultivated form of this species, with distinctive bronze-tinted leaves and pink-and-white spring flowers. Hardy and low-maintenance, it tolerates temperatures down to -3°C and thrives outdoors in bright light with good airflow.
Mount this plant upside down on cork bark or timber to let it curl naturally toward the sun. Position it under a tree, on a verandah, or in a shadehouse, never indoors. Protect from frost and ensure excellent air circulation to prevent rot. Water every 2–3 days in hot spots, or weekly in humid shade.
Mist or dunk for 10–20 minutes, then shake dry. Let it dry completely between waterings. Never allow water to pool at the base.
