Every Plant Tells a Story
Nature does not create perfection, it creates character. We celebrate these natural details, because they make every plant beautifully one of a kind.
Tillandsia Ty is a striking hybrid air plant that grows up to 25cm with a distinctive bulbous base. Its silver-green, spidery foliage produces a large branched flower spike with soft pink bracts and violet tubular blooms.
This plant thrives outdoors in bright light with good airflow. Position it under a tree, on a verandah, deck, or in a shadehouse. It tolerates cool temperatures but must be protected from frost. Mount or suspend it on cork bark or timber—never use water-retaining substrates or moss at the base, as this causes rot.
Water every 2–3 days in hot spots, or once weekly in cooler, humid areas. Mist or dunk for 10–20 minutes, then shake off excess water. Let the plant dry completely between waterings. Never allow water to pool at the base.
