Tillandsia bergeri Air Plant

Tillandsia bergeri is a compact air plant from Argentina with stiff, grey-green foliage. Known as the "mad pupper," it produces offsets year-round instead of flowering annually. When it does flower in spring, expect pale pink inflorescences with soft blue-violet blooms.

Position indoors near a bright window with good airflow, or outdoors in dappled light under trees or shade structures. 

Tolerates cool temperatures but needs frost protection. Mount on non-water-retaining surfaces like cork or timber using wire, fishing line, or adhesive—never cover the base with moss.

Water every 2–3 days in hot spots, or weekly in cool, humid conditions. Mist or dunk for 10–20 minutes, then shake dry. Must dry completely between waterings. Never let water pool at the base.
