Every Plant Tells a Story
Nature does not create perfection, it creates character. We celebrate these natural details, because they make every plant beautifully one of a kind.
Tillandsia intermedia is a striking air plant from western Mexico that grows upside down, forming impressive colonies. Its most unique feature is producing pups from both its base and flowering spike, creating a fascinating chain of plants. Light green foliage with minimal texture supports long pink-green flower spikes with mauve tubular blooms.
If indoors, place near a bright window with good airflow. Outdoors thrives in bright, indirect light under trees, verandahs, or shadehouses. Needs airflow to dry between waterings and protection from frost.
Suspend or mount on non-water-retaining surfaces like timber or cork bark using coated wire, fishing line, silicone, or hot glue. Never cover the base with moss,it will rot.
Hot locations need watering every 2–3 days; cooler, humid spots once weekly. Mist or dunk for 10–20 minutes, then shake off excess. Let dry completely between waterings. Never allow water to pool at the base.
