Tillandsia Kashkin (Fragrant) Air Plant

Tillandsia Kashkin is a striking air plant with silvery, stiff foliage and fragrant yellow flowers that shift from orange-yellow to pale yellow over time. Originally collected in Bolivia, this cultivar develops delicate pastel pink touches on its blooms.

Keep outdoors in bright light with good airflow under trees, verandahs, decks, or shadehouses work well. Mount or suspend on non-water-retaining surfaces like cork bark or timber using wire, fishing line, or silicone. Tolerates cool temperatures but needs frost protection. Never cover the base with moss.

Water when the top feels dry typically every 2–3 days in warm conditions, or once weekly in cooler, humid spots. Mist or fully submerge for 10–20 minutes, then shake off excess water thoroughly. Always allow the plant to dry completely between waterings. Never let water sit at the base, as standing moisture causes rot.
