Every Plant Tells a Story
Nature does not create perfection, it creates character. We celebrate these natural details, because they make every plant beautifully one of a kind.
Tillandsia nuptialis is a Brazilian air plant with silvery, rigid foliage and a striking lime-yellow inflorescence featuring white flowers that bloom in autumn. Originally sourced from Bruce Dunstan.
Outdoor placement only, under trees, verandahs, decks, or shadehouses. Needs bright light and strong airflow to thrive. Tolerates cool temperatures but must be protected from frost. Mount or suspend on non-water-retaining surfaces like timber or cork bark using wire, fishing line, or silicone adhesive. Never cover the base with moss or substrate.
Water every 2–3 days in hot spots, or once weekly in cool, humid areas. Mist, dunk for 10–20 minutes, or spray with a hose. Shake off excess water thoroughly and allow the plant to dry completely between waterings. Keep water away from the base to prevent rot.
