Tillandsia stricta Air Plant

Tillandsia stricta is a striking air plant native to South America, featuring soft green leaves and stunning pink flowers with violet blooms that appear in winter. Available in several cultivars including standard green, 'Bak', 'Red', and 'Silver Form'. 

Place near a bright window with good air circulation. Outdoors: Thrives in bright, indirect light,under trees, verandahs, decks, or shadehouses work well. Needs airflow to dry between waterings. Tolerates cool temperatures but protect from frost.

Mount or suspend on non-water-retaining surfaces like timber or cork bark using wire, fishing line, or adhesive. Never cover the base with moss.

Water every 2–3 days in hot spots, or weekly in cool, humid areas. Mist or dunk for 10–20 minutes, then shake off excess. Always allow the plant to dry completely between waterings. Never let water sit at the base, as this will cause rot.
