Tillandsia stricta with stiff leaves is a compact South American air plant perfect for small spaces. Its rigid, silvery-grey leaves form a tight rosette and bloom with bright pink or red bracts and short-lived blue flowers.

Grows 5–10 cm across and produces pups over time for natural clustering. Light: Bright, indirect light or filtered morning sun.

Watering: Soak weekly for 20–30 minutes, or mist 2–3 times weekly depending on warmth and airflow.

Drying: Shake off excess water and ensure good air circulation so the center dries within hours—this prevents rot.
